If you rather prefer Medieval times then we also have something for you..
Retrofit mod is most probably the best one for MTW2 on multiplayer. Most people who have tried it, have stuck to it and never came back to the original game. Skirmish is again a huge part of the game, long archers/crossbowmen battles decide about victory and all the good parts from RTW are nicely mixed with MTW2. Balance, that's what Retrofit is about!
