I joined a ToK 2v2 for a 12.5k, High era, Grassy Plain battle with Markus on my team, and Prodigy and another ToK whose username I can't recall. Either way, this battle had to be the closest battle I've ever fought, I routed my enemy's French army (who had extremely heavy cavalry, when I had upgraded all my infantry), but I managed to chew his cavalry down with polearms, so now I'm left with nothing but merely 6 units of heavy infantry with only about 30/60 men per unit and 2 units of peasant crossbowmen (40/60 men each) which the enemy's ally's light cavalry would rout and I'd keep rallying and continue fire, so I go to flank the other enemy and help my ally Markus, whose enemy has all heavy cavalry left, and Markus is losing miserably to his Pavise Crossbowmen, my infantry just chews everything up, routs it all, in the end I was left with nothing but 2 units of Peasant Crossbowmen (my ally routed completely) and the opposing side had nothing but his General, that's right, nothing but just his general (1 horse). So he rushes my crossbows, literally the microsecond before engaging my men fire and he falls just inches short of their feet.
Pretty sweet, dude.
