| This is a link to the Medieval II section of the Total War Center forums. It has most if not all of the mods that have been released or are still in development. Enjoy, and let me know what your favorite mode is. http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=211 | |

| Don't forget the Totalwar.org, or something like that. I'm waiting for Warhammer Total War for M2TW. | |

| First you make a copy of M2TW file, onto your DeskTop. Then when the downloading is complete. Open the file. Place everthing into your copy of M2TW. Say yes to all replacements. Then wala. If you don't want teh mod, then get ride of the file, the copy of M2TW.
I have experince on this. Its preaty cool. | |

| Almost all mods come with an installer now days. You can be playing them in minutes. It's just like installing any other program. Read the descriptions and find one that intrests you. I'm playing Stainless Steel 3.2 and Deus Lo Vult 3.1. I suggest Stainless Steel for a first mod as a good example of the kind of things modders can do. Here is a download link. http://files.filefront.com/Stainless_Steel_32_standeexe/;7551257;/fileinfo.html Just save to desktop and double click to start the install. If you want more of a challange then I suggest Deus Lo Vult. Here is a download link. http://www.esell.de/extras/DLV_31_install.exe THESE MODS DO NOT CHANGE YOURS MTW2 DATA. Meaning that you dont even have to play the mod, and can just continue to play what is termed the "vanilla" or original version. The mods are launched via a new desk top short cut. MULTIPLAYER IS UNAFFECTED. Believe me, if I were unable to play online I would'nt do it. Although some mods can be played online, they do not mod the original folders for just that reason.
Well, I hope that helped clear up some doubts some of you might be having about mods. There are some realy nice ones out there. They help make a great game even grander. Best of all...they're FREE!!

| Yeah Claw, 4.0 is sweet. I like the new load screens. They're all screen shots from Kingdom of Heavan. The viking mercs are fun too. | |
