*salutes** thank you everyone Eve6, did you see that!?! that was tense...i think he had, like,24 archers with no ammo left before he forfeited. He was swedish i think so there were no rules in play or talk at all for that matter, so i had no artillery and he had 2 or 3 onagers who did their share of damage. extended battle to say the least

ok, now i gotta ask u guys sumthin. by the end of this battle, all this dude had left were a few pike units; like 4. i had a ton of skirmish units left. Parthia, historically being an eastern barbarian tribe from the steppes used the skirmish, shock troop, hit and run style combat to defeat their enemies...effectively. now, did he have any right to get pissed and call me a noob?!? it may be long boring chasing, but he lost, right?>>>>>>>>

Yep, thats how you have to use a skirmish army. No worries, theres whiners all over the Rome lobby.
