Long time no see! I wasn't really sure if you guys still played Empire.
My pc has been dead for a while and wasn't that enthousiastic about Empire.. I really thought it was a big anti-climax after Medieval2..
But great to see that most of the old school members are still rockin'!

All are playing Empire (and liking it?) or still rockin' Med2?

Hey man, welcome back. Yeah Med2 is still pretty dead after the log in problems. I think most of us are switching back and forth between the three(RTW, Med2, and Emp). I seem to be on Rome the most but I'll start playing Empire again when the 1.4 patch comes out(late September).

Is your computer in good enough shape to kick some butt?

Hey Rom! Good speaking to you again! My pc is in ok shape now yes.. but I just don't like the war tactics on Empire that much.. I miss Med2 gameplay, tactics and units..
Too bad the login is still that wack.. cause we did do some nice battles that period!

Yeah Med2 is working smoothly again but hardly anyone came back to it. Id love to play a few games.

And how can my sig be automaticaly added to my posts without me having to paste it in?

Im not sure who the dutch heros are but I can help with youre sig...first go to youre profile there will be a box that says signature..paste it in there, then when you go to post a subject down by were it says send.. off to the right and a little lower than that will be a + symbol, click that and it will open some option boxes, click the one that says attach signature then click send and youre sig will appear in youre post. You will have to click that box every time you want to show youre siggy.

The one on the right is Michiel de Ruyter (1607-1676);

Luitenant Admiral General of the Dutch fleet.
His flagship was 'De Zeven Provinciën' ('The Seven Provinces')
Was very important in the first 3 Dutch-English wars.

The left one is Cornelis Tromp (1629 - 1691);

Luitenant Admiral General of the Dutch and Danish fleet.
His flagship was 'De Gouden Leeuw' ('The Golden Lion')
Fought together with Michiel the Ruyter in the second Dutch-English war. He wasn't that succesfull as de Ruyter but was more of a rebel.

They were not exactly friends but won/fought some important battles in European history..

Hmm, it appears you have two profiles Genghis. One of them is the old -Crusaders-Shaolin(the one your logged into now) and the other one is Imperator_Genghis. So I guess you can just log into the Imperators one or if you want I can erase it and change the -Crusader- to Imperator. If that makes sence.

Anyway its up to you which profile you want to keep, just let me know and I'll either erase the new one or change the name of the old one. It looks like you have a ss thread for Imperator_Genghis already.

Ok, I just changed the one your using for you so now you have to log in as Imperator_Genghis.

Hey guys, I've tried to install med2.. but install got stuck at some sound file on DVD2... so I can't play med2 ...
I did install Empires but it is less fun though!

I also invited icesham, boru, dreadnought and romulus on teamspeak..

hmmm, i had something similar happen, but i tried again a few more times and it came through eventually, still, kick some frenchie butt for me then

Hey, yeah I had the same thing happen at I think the same point as you. What I had to do was make a new folder on the desktop, put in disk 2, go to D: drive(or whatever your DVD player is), right click on it and choose Explore and highlight all the files and drag them to the folder you made on your desktop. Wait for it to copy, and now install the game like normal, but when it asks for disk 2 choose browse and select desktop and choose the new folder and it will install from there. After its installed you can erase the desktop folder.

Worked for me, hopefully it will for you too.

And I'm sure you checked for fingerprints and scratches.

I think it is a f*cked up DVD... lot of scratches.. so i am downloading a med2 torrent right nog and hope I can play it online that downloaded game.. Anybody knows if I can?

as long as its a clean copy of med II and if u have ur original serial code from the copy u bought u would have no problem playing online with a torrent med 2

Waited for 2 days... installed the download... didn't work... so... I bought a new copy of MEDIEVAL2 !! for 6 bucks...

So any imperator up for a oldskool med2 game tonite? I'm going downtown to get a drink but later on i'll be in the lobby.. in about 2/3 hours from now..
