| We get our shot at at defeating the 1st United Methodist team tonight in church league softball. They have gone undefeated in 4... yes 4.... years. Its time they loss!  We are both 4 - 0. They have gave up only 23 runs in 4 games (5.75 runs per game) while we gave up 30 (7.5 runs per game). On the other hand, we have scored 72 runs (18 per game) and they have scored 65 (16.25 per game). Thats about as even has you can get. | |

| We pulled it off! We won 16 - 13  We were behind until the bottom of the 5th. We scored 4 runs and were ahead 10 - 9. They scored 4 in the top of the 6th to give them a 3 run lead. The bottom of the 6th saw us score 6. I hit a nice single into left for an RBI that inning. In the top of the 7th they had bases loaded with 2 outs. Their batter hit a sharp line drive up the 3rd base line. Our 3rd baseman man made an unbelievable diving catch that ended the game. they were very good sportsmen. They congratulated us on the win, giving us a standing ovation. I pitched the game for us. Next game we will be facing a 5 - 0 team thats is the second highest scoring team in the league. | |
