Ok, as I plan on playing as Macedon only (except for certain cases), I am working on an anti-british army for the chariots, and headhurlers. So far I have had some extreme success with it. So here it is for anyone interested in playing as Macedon.
5 Companion Cavalry (gold attack and gold defense)
1 Macedonian Cavalry (no attack and no defense)
4 Royal Pikemen (gold attack and gold defense)
1 Royal Pikemen (gold attack and silver defense)
5 Peltasts (no attack and no defense)
Its a real simple setup, and works really well.
--------------------------------------
Again, setup all the Royal Pikemen in a straight line 4 shields deep. Also set your Cavalry on each of the flanks of the Royal Pikemen (I prefer my Gerneral on the right side of the battle). Finally, set up your peltast inside of your Cavalry, 2 on one side, and 3 on the other side. Then walk you cavalry out into the open, just not to far from the main army, draw any chariots out into the open, and put the peltasts on fire at will. I have routed 6 Chariots with 2 Companions and 1 Macedonian Cavalry and 3 Peltast, all at once like this.
Also, I will be posting all of my specialty armies here, but I will keep my VIII Legion to myself. That is my must win army.
