32 teams from World of Tanks closed beta will take part in the upcoming tournament.

World of Tanks team is glad to announce the first championship within WoT closed beta, which will open the series of various tournaments available for tank commanders.

The tournament is called 1st Championship World of Tanks CBT and will gather 32 teams from all over the world. Every team will consist of up to 14 main members and up to 6 people in roster.

The tournament will be divided into 5 rounds (Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals).

All the matches will be played on a single map — Lakeville.

Registering for the tournament starts right away and will continue till 26 September, 11:59 p.m. (CET).

The championship will start on September 29 and last for three days, below is the schedule.

21.09–26.09. Registering for the tournament
27.09. Draw
29.09. Round of 32
30.09. Round of 16 and Quarterfinals
01.10. Semifinals and Finals, announcing winners
The winning team and the runners-up will be awarded the following prizes:

I place — 2500 gold, WoT branded T-shirt, flash drive, diploma for each team member including roster players
II place — 2500 gold, WoT branded T-shirt, diploma for each team member including roster players
III place — 2500 gold, diploma for each team member including roster players
NB! The players will get their gold after the game is released. Both teams that lose in Semifinals are considered to be bronze winners.

Battles unfolding on 29 and 30 September start at 8 p.m. (CET). Battles unfolding on 1 October start at 7 p.m.

Bah why couldnt they do it during a weekend. I'll try but idk with school and i have no idea what the time conversion is for there to eastern.

Idk what that converts either. Hmm. Yeah no big deal if we miss this tourney, they're going to do a US based tourney too at some point.
