Srry Janis, I thought I told you. No one showed up so I said I'd try to get something set up for next Saturday. Hopefully Eve and his brother can join us by then too. Twisted Evil

The POM clan seem really nice. They said we are very welcome to use their servers anytime and they hope to see more of us on since we seem like cool guys. I told them we are Razz and most of us are 30+ with family and jobs and and that it's very hard to organize anything and he(SPQR) said they are too and completely understands.

It adds invasion mode which lets you fight ever increasing waves of AI. I played it online with about 20 people and it was fun. Its a good way to practice.
Just download it and put TheBattleForCalradria file in your Mount and Blade modular folder.
Need help just ask.

Oh, and can anyone make it for some practice/possible skirm tomarrow?

Open Fields mod. Adds alot of new maps.

There are now a total of 14 new maps in the mod. Most are fairly large open environments, made with large scale battles in mind. All maps are available for the Battle game-mode, and some are prepared for deathmatch, CTF and F&D as well. While the large outdoors environments are well suited for cavalry, the maps also feature various positions that can be defended by infantry and archers. These positions range from simple fences and rock formations, to mounds and moats, and small castles. Using the terrain to your advantage will be important. Hopefully it will inspire teamwork and tactics, because this game is best when people work together.

This time, we bring you an intense Multiplayer experience, namely
Leveling your char - you decide what skills, attributes and weapon proficiencies to raise
Buying items - spend your money wisely on what gear you want to carry to battle
Choice - wear every piece of item from the singleplayer campaign.
Persistant Chars - you log off, you log on, you keep playing your char

This is the stuff that works in our alpha so far. You upgrade your skills and gear via a website.

What will be considered, and, depending on feasability, be added eventually:
Less interruptions in the game flow (right now you have to restart the server to update the gear - this is done every 30 mins)
Leveling and gearing inside the game
Using the system for something even more epic (MMO or COOP)

Thanks Janis. Very sweet idea for a mod. Twisted Evil I played last night enough to get to my guy up to level 8 with a decent shield and armour and an ax. TNA is on it too, I think hes level 5. Very Happy

Update 1.01 is out and now I have added Invasion gamemode created by Arch3r. All credit for the Invasion scripts go to him, Some changes are made to remove custom items as I only want to use Native stuff. Waves and Invasion units have been changed to a more generic crowd of peasant troops. First wave only uses knives and tools without ability to block. Next wave uses one handed weapons and staffs, subsequent waves carry more shields and thrown weapons, and boss waves are changed to Native Lords with a small following of Native Faction troops.
This is made to show off my maps, that I think go well with this entertaining gamemode. Play with bots on your own team, or team up with buddies and see how long you can survive.

-Surrendering no longer delivers you permanent stat damage.
-Player caravans are now stronger.

-A cut-scene is now shown at weddings.

-The method for calculating damage when your attack connects too soon or too late has been changed.
-AI now moves back more effectively in combat to control distance.
-Some polearm attack animations have been redone.
-Some troop stats and equipment have been rebalanced.
-New key combination added to hide overlay mesh (Ctrl + o).
-Left-right and up-down keys now cancel each other (instead of one key always overriding another).
-Characters now have softer shadows.
-The models for several items and weapons have been redone.
-Camera raycast direction fix for dungeon-like places.

General:
-A ton of other bug fixes and improvements.
