GK tourney

FORMAT:
-The tournament will be played in a different kind of league format. Where each
player will face off with another competitor in a match of best of 3 games.
-Win= 3points, Loss= No. of Games won Points, Draw= 1 point (very rare)
-Once every player has faced every other team/player at least twice then
the teams/players at the top of the table will be put into the quarter finals, and so on.
-Winner of each of the category will receive a special signature for them to wear
forever in pride. Extra awards will also be given out to distinguished players.



RULES:

-All Games will be played on either the HIGH period or the EARLY period. The host
of the game will choose. (Host alternates each game).

-All Games will be played on the Grassy Plains map. NO rehosting even if the weather
is terrible.

-In the 2v2 Category, each team is allowed 30000 florins. In the 1v1 Category each
player is allowed 10000florins.

-Rules Are: Max 6cav (2ha), no art, no ele, NO CAV BUG, no stake/pike camping.
No skirmish win. (running away for ever)
If any player breaks the rules the game is to be rehosted, if this reoccurs the player
is disqualified from the match and gains no points. If he loses 3 matches this way he
is disqualified from the tournament. If a player ia accused of using the cav bug ON
PURPOSE (accidental uses are given a warning) and denies use. The accuser must
send me the replay and tell me where exactly the bug was used.

-Each faction can only be selected ONCE during a match by a player/team.
No arguments over factions host's team picks first.

-All matches are to be organized via xfire or the GrailKnights forum. All contestents
must have xfire and must add EVERY other participant. Each game must played
within the duration of a week. (A small extension may be allowed for special cases)
YOU MUST KEEP YOU XFIRE ON AT ALL TIMES POSSIBLE.

-All games must be patched to version 1.2 of Medieval 2 Total War.

-No swearing

-Games which have lost connection, are to be rehosted. If tis occurs twice in a row
the game is given to the other team.

-Proof of each victory must come in the form of a screenshot and must be posted in
a separate thread. (soon to come once the tourney is confirmed)

-If a match for some reason cannot be played it will either be rearranged with a
different player or called a draw.

-My decision is final.

-Only GrailKnights may participate.

Note: If you have a problem during the game or else where try sorting it out yourself
first and reason with the other player, we are a brotherhood after all. If an
agreement can be made between players then the verdict will be sent to me.

Ok Romulus I would like to get this tourny under way, we can schedule for the weekend but if we can can catch everyone on xfire maybe we can get it going this work week in the evening.

Let me know what combat style we will use and maybe we can get a few mp games in.

Cool Eve. Wouldnt it be something if two Imperators won the Grailknights only tourny? Heehee Oh and Celt said he could also be a stand-in. Us four need to get some practice in togeather. Too bad registrations over, we could have had two teams entered.

Should we play early or high?

This might be alittle hard to organise Boru. The guys we are playing are from Germany and Australia and we're east coast and west coast. We should try to figure out something by Friday AND we should get some practice in togeather soon.

Well almost anytime sat and sunday will have to do then. (as long as I dont get called into work saturday).

It would be nice to go in with a game plan, when would you like to practice ?

Whenever we can hook up, I'm usually on after six and stay on till alittle past midnight(wow really?). Oh and {GrailK}perihelion asked me to ask you to accept his xfire friends request.

I have no doubt Eve, although 95% of the med2 players are regulars now. Damn log-in bug ruined my noob killing...grumble, grumble.

well, new blood comes in every now and then since the log in bug is fixed, plus you know i would inspire better teamwork than most

Now we have to play Team Eliminators (Holy + Samurai). We should get in some practice.

Samurai's sisters birthday is today so it looks like it will be tomarrow Boru.

Well we took a draw since the other team never showed up. That means we are the only team to get in a win. This week we have to play Team Dead Ball (Nrgballer + D.E.A.D). If we beat them I think we have a win in the bag. Or we can not play them and we'll still be in the lead. LOL
They're really good at M2TW, I think we should try to get in some practice. I think we have untill tomarrow to get in the games, but I'm not sure.
