I have a job... The reason I only say "close" is cause that is 1. $30 I have of actual cash, 2. I just spent $800 on a laptop, and 3. Since I'm going to college, my mom wants me to save my money.

Save money and spend it at the same time... I am impressed. i haven't learned to do that yet and I am WAY OLD!
$20 isn't nothing. You'll have it saved in no time. Just don't go on any dates. Laughing

How's the softball going Ice? We're 3 - 0 right now. won the last game 9 - 6. Church League Softball is brutal.... Laughing We're 3 - 0 this year. Thats a lot better than last year when we went 0 - 3 in the first 3 games.
It helps when you have 2 ringers. Our latest ringer played 4 years of college baseball. he plays SS and the other ringer plays 3rd base. Almost nothing gets through... Cool My goal is to at least beat the Methodists who havent lost in over 4 years. We almost beat them last year when we lost 13 - 10.

Don't want to spend the money on a new total war game???!!!! affraid
You must be an imposture..... Suspect

just kidding.... use your money in the best way you can use it. Its hard to imagine, but video gaming is not the most important thing in the world. Its close, but not the most important... Very Happy

i bought this game the first day it came out, despite forcing and willing myself to like this game, i don't. med war II is far more satisfying, and not as irritating.

this weeks sees the release of 28 new units to join the shooting madness. and for a while my enthusiasm was pricked, but i just dont like all the geomtry involved

every battle i play seems to follow this pattern, skirmish with light inf, line up, moutaches waxed and pouting, chest out, fire, die, charge with any remaining troops into non routing enemy units.

imagine my chagrin when all the talk of a new game/ex pack will be that of a napoleonic era game.

I think the tactics are the same for all total war games. Hurrass the ememy with skirmishers, try to set the enemy into possition, move men to hit his flank. I have always use Napoleonic tactics on Rome and Medieval to great effect. The only differance with empire is that terrain can get in your way of your bullets now and stop them from hitting what a sword just couldnt miss. Smile
I can deffinately understand someone just not being into an era of long range battles though.
I prefer to play some of all three games, plenty to keep me from getting burned out on just one era.

If you like the time period, I would suggest getting it Konst. The last patch really made it run silky smooth. Very Happy
